Who Should Attend
Our labs are real projects that are designed for a cross functional team to learn about Agile Software Delivery. Ideally each lab will have a mix of:
- Developers
- Testers
- Analysts
- Agile Coaches
- Managers
Some of you will come to learn Rails and others to learn Agile Software Delivery. We will do our best to ensure that we touch on all aspects of the iterative planning, testing, delivery cycle. We mix short lectures throughout the lab and use examples from the project rather than just making something up. Our goal is to create a rich environment where you can learn, teach, have fun and have a positive impact.
To effectively teach the labs we have at least 1 teacher/mentor for every 10 people in the Lab. This provides an extremely interactive session for all attendees.

We are dedicated to creating a unique training experience that uses real projects with real deliverables. Labs work on projects that make a difference in the world, benefiting organizations that are working to improve the environment, human rights, social justice, health and economic development.
By marrying the efforts of dedicated professionals learning Agile Development techniques with not for profit and research communities that need high quality software, we hope to be a small part of a positive change. Each training class will work on a specific software project for a specific cause.
